Laboratory stand for the Transformers chapter of Electric Machines course
Four laboratory stands for Transformers chapter of Electric Machines course are developed and made. Performance of the following laboratory works is planned:
1. Research of three-phase two-winding transformer.
2. Parallel connection of three-phase transformers.
3. Asymmetrical loading of three-phase transformers.
4. Research of the phenomenon arising at magnetization of transformer's magnetic core.
The frontal method of laboratory works is realized.
The manual is published: Zabudsky E.I. Electric machines. Chapter 1. Transformers. The manual for high schools. - Moscow: MSAU, 2002. According to the authorized program, principles of the device and a main questions of the theory of transformers; modes of operation, characteristics, operational properties of transformers and their experimental research are considered. Device schematic, theory bases and applications of special transformers, namely - the frequency multipliers, saturated and controlled reactors, are described.
